あっははは、初夏
本日はバイト終了後、ハチノスのＣＤのマスタリングをしに中野富士見町までどんぶらこ。
具体的に何をしたかと言うと、ＰＡの人がモクモクと作業するのを、後ろで眺めて喋って、それだけ。
ＣＤの全体的な音量をあげてもらったのだけど、結構な金額を出して実際にはどれだけの違いがあるんだろう？ってずーっと考えてた。
スタジオは音響も素晴らしいものが揃っていて、ＰＡの人が「こんなかんじでいいですか？」っていっても、あまりピンとこない。というより、このスタジオすごい音良いですね。
で、5時という微妙な時間に終了したため、ボーカルの寺内ヤマトくんちにみんなで押しかけた。
ヤマトくんちは本がいっぱいあって、実は片っ端から読みたかったけど我慢して、珍遊記と満遊記をさらっと読んで笑った。
そして早速ＣＤを聞き比べた。
最初はマスタリングしてない方。うんうん、いつも聞いてるやつね。
次は本日マスタリングした方のＣＤ。・・・ん？なにが違うんだ？？ホントニ音量上がっただけ？
でも何曲か聴いてるうちに違いが判って来た。
なんていうか、全部の楽器がよく聴こえる！
バンドやってる人はきっと自分のパートばっかり耳に入ると思うんだけど、私もそうなんだけど。
気のせいか？ギターを聴いてるのにベースもドラムもボーカルもハッキリと聴こえる！
いや、気のせいでもいいや。自分だけでもそう聴けたらすごいラッキーだもんね。
ってことで、ＣＤが焼けたらまた聴こうと思います。
今日、まわりで噂の中島らもの「今夜、すべてのバーで」を買った。
中野に行くまでの電車内、帰りの電車内、家に帰ってから今までで読み終わってしまった。
アル中の話だった。わたしはお酒はほとんど、最近は全く飲まないんだけど、とても面白かった。
当分活字は読みたくないけどね。
